I almost want to say that the forgotten child overreacted with their post, but then I remembered that the parents just lied about her getting covid and I feel like that is crossing a line on their part where it stops being a family issue. You are just lying about someone’s medical history at that point.

The fact that the entire family forgot about their 3rd and youngest child over the course of 6 months but random Facebook/Instagram commentors immediately notice their absence tells me that the exclusion was deliberate and if she brought it up, she would be berated for doing so. This is to say nothing about the absolute refusal to own up to their shit. I really do hope that she never sees them again after she turns 18+ and gets some sort of stability outside of them. What a bunch of assholes.

I will say, I think not feeling like you excite your partner does go further than being insecure that someone else will take them. It could absolutely just be that you feel inadequate, especially if you try and be exciting for them and then are told you're coming up short.
