Nothing can be more embarrassing then what happened to me. Setting the scene. I'd been having vision problems but was in denial about needing glasses. Walking on the street, I see a guy waving from afar. Turn around to make sure it was at me. No one behind me. Great. Guy gets closer and kinda looks like someone I know so I wave back. Guy goes in for kiss on the cheek/hug and that's when his face comes into focus. No idea who it is! A stranger kissed my cheek and hugged me! Went to an optometrist that week!

I can chime in on this one. Im a FOH manager in NYC. The minimum wage for servers is $10 an hour plus tips vs $15 for non tipped employees. If they work a standard 40 hour work week they will go home with $400 every week before taxes are deducted. The amount deducted varies per person. Obviously nobody can survive off of that here or anywhere else. Tips are everything. So because of that, some places choose to add gratuity to your bill to ensure they will be tipped. Especially when we hear that accent, & we know that ass aint gonna drop a tip 🥲😂

I think one reason why 28 Days Later is difficult to find on streaming services is due to some of the controversial scenes in the movie, particularly towards the end (No spoilers, but specifically some scenes involving soldiers). In times like these, where anything remotely controversial is automatically “cancelled” before being contextualised, it stands to reason that streaming services would want to stay clear. Just a theory. If retrospective, indiscriminate censorship of specific ideas or themes is the way of the future, I think it poses some very serious concerning questions.
