Postpartum is crazy. You’re literally a different person.

RJ Jensen

I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 5ish. I have a severe combination of hyperactive and inattentive; and the meds that I take make me feel slow like everything is just slow now, but that’s only because I’m use to my brain being every where and all over the place!

Ally👾

I found out I had severe combined ADHD last year (27) finding out I'm autistic (28)... I reckon fuhad has auDHD too. It's truly life changing having the diagnosis' and medication for ADHD. Support and therapy is incredibly important too. #neurospicygang ❤️

Kyisha

just listened to this ep and loved that Fuhad opened up.. even in big 2024 adhd still has a stigma. that with the expense and how long a diagnosis can take i have been putting off seeking help. would love to know if Fuhad or others on here went private or NHS?

Rae Rae

Yes😭😭😭😭 James literally skips over the focus point

Brittany Nicole

I just found out a year ago at 34. It definitely does offer a different view on the world. Meds have changed my life as well and I was a person who never took meds until I was diagnosed.

Kelsie Smith

For the pick your poison I immediately thought this happens to me regularly. You get used to it after a while and learn to pick your battles😂.

Kevin Espinosa

Excuse me I need my weekly dosage 👋🏻 hellooooo

Phoebe Samuels

Was thinking the same thing!

broysten C

Ayo fraudsters! where’s this Thursdays ep I’m almost finished work and I need that shit expeditiously

broysten C

lol no

NezzyB

I feel like y’all both should read the dilemma’s/reddits as one person reads aloud because y’all (James) tends to miss small but important aspects of the story. She did tell her husband and he chose to ignore it and then got his feelings hurt when she snapped on him. She sounds overstimulated and like she probably needs more contribution from him. She’s NTA

Rebecca1995

Fuhad’s admission for adhd was so heart warming. I got diagnosed at 27, meds have changed my life!! Combined ADHD is both inattentive and hyperactive, it’s a strange world. Also most people with adhd are on the asd spectrum. Just a different view on the world.

Jazz

The girl that didn’t wanna have sex did explain herself to him, but he tried to initiate the sex that same day she had that conversation with him

Claire McDavid

Yall NEED to watch Griselda on Netflix and give your reviews!! Just finished binging and WOW

Georgie Williams

This podcast is so relatable! Fuhad if you have to go on meds for your ADHD it is life changing! I was diagnosed when I was 27 I’m now 30 and thriving.. it’s bitter sweet I wish things were picked up on at school because I feel like my choices and decisions have been impacted and I’m not where I want to be.. but I will and James is so supportive of you and that’s what you need!

Jennifer Joseph

Wondering the same! Was on episode 63 and really upset to not be able to finish =\ joined patreon and still don’t see the episodes

Humi

Hiya everyone ^^ just joined. Question: is everyone’s page for them in Spanish? 🤔

Daryl Pera

I'm just wondering if there is a reason videos from before episode 103 has disappeared from Spotify and YouTube, been a fan for years and got my missus onto you guys and started from the beginning, was watching episode 53 then it disappeared 🙁

Djtf102

Hey can someone give me rems discord to add him cause the 1 in the description doesn’t work

Hayden Cooper

ADHD is long and I've taken medication for it and I can't lie, it made me feel terrible I was not myself and I became cold and cold hearted, so my advice would be try it without the medication #loveforfuhad

Ali

How do I submit a dilema?

Isobella Pavey

As someone with ADHD, I can vouch that medication is a bit of a journey to take. Trial short vs long release stimulant drugs and see what works best for you. I found that as long as I've eaten and I'm not taken the meds too late in the day... I don't feel over stimulated or insanely hyper focussed like those who take it (recreationally) to study or party. Our brains are wired a bit differently so "stimulant" drugs dont speed us up the way they do in non-adhd people. I just feel calmer... less static. Like you reduce 20 computer screens in your mind to 2/3. Anyhow, best of luck on your journey! I hope it brings you some peace and clarity, Fuhad! 💫

I really enjoyed this episode. Thanks for sharing with us Fuhad. Can’t you guys share the site just incase someone wants to take the quiz.

I have combination adhd and I was just diagnosed. It changed my life after discovering and really learning about it my life makes so much more sense. Your whole world will change. I am on meds and the first time I took it, it freaked me out because my mind was so quiet. Good luck on this journey to self discovery.

PeaceMaker

That lady husband cannot readbthe room? His wife lays there like a fish and shows no interest. Does he even help with the baby? What a waste man.

Arlynn Flecker

I took this one https://screening.mhanational.org/screening-tools/adhd/ And this one https://www.clinical-partners.co.uk/for-adults/adult-adhd-add/test-for-adhd

Arlynn Flecker

Static all the time and your brain randomly picks up a part of each tab…..exactly.

Arlynn Flecker

ADHD meds affect people differently based on their brain function. What gets one person high like cocaine, settles and focuses someone with ADHD.

Amanda Girdler

I came here to say this. My adhd meds changed the game for me. I wish I had them in school!

Bree Wilds

Ahh fufu daddie opens up i love to hear it. Gang gang I love to see the many sides of the two best Daddxes a girl could ever have!!!

Ruairí

Would like to know myself

Victoria Major

As someone with this condition, the best way I can explain to people who don’t have it is “ it’s like your brain having 100 internet tabs open at one time, with no ability to close them out” 😕

Karen Russell

Right. Someone is being vulnerable, don't jump right to being dismissive or make uneducated comments about treatment options. That was cringe.

Karen Russell

Exactly. The stigma AROUND ADHD meds comes from people abusing them. It was life-changing for me. ADHD can be exhausting and disabling at times. Taking medication to improve quality of life should be applauded, not received with Meds are crazy.

Harkirat Rahania

NeuroSPICY is hilarious 😩

Harkirat Rahania

I saw it in the way my dad went on about his kidney stones , but when it came to my sisters postpartum recovery he was understanding but also very flippant about it. People really just expect women to get through shit and literally say "it wasn't that bad tho". Crazy Brazy

Kiema

The same Bobby Lee who joked about graping a child? That’s the time we on 😒 Otherwise loved this episode ❤️ Big Ups for Fuhad.

D A

Does anyone know what online ADHD test Fuhad did?

Kirby Ville

Fuhad I’ve been diagnosed with the same exact type of adhd you’re talking about. Just know that not all medication is made with people but when you find one you’re comfortable with it’s an absolute game changer

Moses

The London gimp sounds like a menace

Courtney

Perfectly said, exactly what I tell people when they have this misinformation about how adhd meds work.

Taylor

james talking about not contributing socially in certain situations IS ME. it’s the worst feeling lol

Dave

For the pyp, I dont think they peep its not gonna stop in jail. You still getting gripped.

Trinity Wheeler

I got diagnosed with hyperactive adhd at 5 and been taking meds ever since. I’ve heard stories and know from several people about taking meds and it doesn’t help everyone but it’s helped me and I def would recommend giving them a try and if they don’t work out for you.. guess what? You can stop taking them. Also I def wouldn’t take much of what James said about the meds into account as the reason it makes people “hyperfocus” and “it’s like cocaine” is all entirely based on who is taking them. To put it simply, when someone without adhd takes them it makes them go from 100 to 150 where as when someone WITH adhd.. you know, who they’re meant for.. it brings us from 50 to a neurotypical persons regular 100 making us feel normal. I’m sure most people won’t actually read this but for those who did I hope you found it at least somewhat interesting : )

Karen Russell

Not an ashole situation. Postpartum can be vicious, especially is Childbirth was Traumatic. You can feel violated physically and require therapy to overcome that damage. Your hormones are out of wack, affecting your ability to enjoy sex mentally and physically. She needs to speak with her medical team and get to the source. Very common and unfortunately people underestimate Postpartum recovery. Women don't have these conversations enough.

Thank you Fuhad for being so vulnerable and sharing this with all of us 🫶🏻 you da real MVP

Jennifer Pierre

As someone who has recently started treating their ADHD let me tell you that it has changed my life significantly! I had to try several meds before I found the one that worked for me (I tried non stimulants first and they did nothing. I was scared of the stimulants for reasons) As soon as I found the med that worked for me it was like night and day. I was able to work and get stuff done. And all I could think was "This is what other people feel like. This is what it is like to focus on a single task and actually complete it. It doesn't help with my impulsiveness and I am okay with that. The ability to focus is a God send. Especially with Grad School. I don't see how I even managed to get three degrees without the meds at this point. I am proud that you are working on yourself. Cause untreated ADHD is a BITCH to live with when you actually have things that need to be accomplished.

kaleigh daymh

One of the most important things as a friend is to acknowledge how he's feeling, and don't question it, judge it, or disregard it. Some of the things James said were a bit out of touch, probably from the shock of it , but we all need to know how to respond better when people talk about these kind of things 🥰

Lily

That part! It didn’t come from a negative place but that can be very damaging for some people.

Lawrence Fitness

BIIIGMAN I used to mange areas in sketch! Food is great but the triple Michelin area in sketch is cool but not worth you P’s Great restaurant though my boy still runs the Parkour in sketch if you wanna pull up 🍸

@Tgoodyy

James has to be mindful of the “crazy” word when therapy is involved. I know he meant well.. but that word can ruin a lot.

Arthur Wells

Lol I cosplayed as Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul for a Halloween thing at work one time…. Everyone thought it was a gimp suit

Tia May

Diagnosed at 22 and can majorly relate to the relief and how everything just seems to make sense. Going on medication has completely changed my life, my brain just slowed and things come out more logical and the improvement it had on my university work was mental. There are side effects to the meds but for me personally the positive majorly outweighed them

Lily

The AITA, that lady needs to see a therapist ASAP as it could be PND. Also “feeling like you can’t so no”!? I’m sorry baby but this is coercion. You are not the asshole, neither of you are. But you should be able to communicate with your partner.

Regan Bradley

Reddit AITAH: She's an asshole for not telling her husband exactly how she wants him to be intimate with her. His idea of intimacy & hers are different now. If she doesn't know what she wants that's fine but don't just shut him down, experiment til you find what you like.

Alexandra Lessing

As a mentally ill girlie on meds, I would say don't be scared to try them. They work for some people, others don't like them. But whatever tools available to better your life, I say do it!

Caitlin

I didn’t find out I was neurospicy until I was 23. Then my whole life made sense. Hang in there 💜

Isaiah Wilson

fellow ADHD kiddo here man. it’s super refreshing to finally understand why your brain functions the way it does sometimes. you’re still amazing bro, more than your diagnosis

Julius Davey

Also I’m still not medicated and finding natural ways to keep myself on track so there are ways around meds just do your research!!

Armani Council

20mins in…Vinland saga season 2 type ep.😭 had to put my mature cap on

Julius Davey

And yes I’m actually clinically diagnosed

Julius Davey

I’m 21 and literally the same thing I did an online test 3 times turns out I was autistic spent a lot of my life wearing a mask to be normal now I’m embracing it and learning more and more about myself each day

Abrar Abusreyel

yall are so cute the opening up session made me wanna call my bsf and hug her

Quincy Hill

Don’t you think that makes you , you Fuhad? Idk I just don’t want you to hop on big Pharmaceutical drugs and lose a piece of who you are.

Carrie Mokler

There are many ADHD medications- be sure to find the one that suits you best! As a 37 year old female - I started adhd meds at 30 years old and it made a world of difference!! I wish I would have had it during school! Best wishes Fuhad ❤️

Ped

Fuhad! That adhd thing is so real! 😩 if you have a lot of unmasking to do, it’ll be a lot but it will feel so freeing!

Jazz

Aww FuFu! 🥺
