Was really excited for this episode after binging and catching up but wow was this underwhelming … this felt so flat, it had no usual SNG energy. Had to skip the first half after a few min. I get all the circumstances but it’s feels like they’re just spitting eps out just for the sake of it, with no effort. Hope this isnt a trend whenever they go on tour again

I think this episode needed to be done when they were: 1. Back home and refreshed, 2. With Rem and Ellis for more input, 3. With a tighter grasp on the anime up for discussion. I believe it would have been more well-received if they had chosen a small handful of anime to discuss and why, or thrown out random topics like "Who could beat who?" or "This is why I love x.y.z." or "What was good about this anime was..." Like always, there are extremists in the comments on both sides. There's no need to be rude and no need to glaze. It gets you no points in either direction.

It’s not even taking it seriously, it’s just that it slowly turned into a nothing episode for anime fans and non anime fans alike. I’m sure we liked the representation but at the same time, it had no real substance to it because they just don’t really know the medium the way they thought they did in their heads.
