James I used to have mouth ulcers constantly when younger & now very rarely - only difference I used to drink loads of monster/red bull. Now I get a ulcer the moment I drink from a metal can .... Could be a coincidence but make sure to rule out metal allergy first (with all that monster ๐คฃ) ๐

James, regarding the mouth ulcers, go to your gp and say you think you may have Behcetโs disease. Itโs an autoimmune disease which can only be diagnosed by ruling everything else out (involves taking biopsies). It causes mouth ulcers from a young age and can develop into other things, even effecting your eyes. I had the same symptoms as you, did some research, saw behcets disease may be a cause and so I mentioned it to my gp. They told me it wasnโt that because itโs so rare, but two years later (when it slightly effected my eyes) they did all the tests and diagnosed me with it. Iโve now been treated and suffer no mouth ulcers, even if I get one it heals really quickly. Hope this helps and hope you see this message!
