Chapter 11 status report (epilogue)

After releasing Chapter 11 I've been working on the epilogue, that will cap off the episode from Lena's POV and depict her entire Friday. Right now I'm focused on the writing, and I'd say it's about 80% done. The art is almost ready too, and once that's finished and everything is put together and tested, it will be ready to release.
It's taking longer than I wanted (what a surprise) but this summer has been a bit tough. Shiva, my cat, had been feeling sick for quite some time, and at the start of August I had to make the difficult choice of putting her down. Lena's cat Lola was a homage to her, but even if she had no cameo, she's been part of the games I've made in some way or another, sitting on my desk while I worked on GGGB and ORS.
I've been taking it a bit easy this month, but I hope to be able to ramp up my productivity and release the epilogue really soon. I hope you enjoyed the popularity contest and other polls, it was very interesting for me to see where the community stands at and read and engage with your comments. I've been also doing some R&D to see if I can speed up and increase the number of illustrations, but that will probably take some time to pay off, and I'm also doing some planning and work on Chapter's 12 script. Next week I will post a new Q&A, and after the epilogue is released, it will be time to finally publish the game on Steam, which I've been putting off for a long time due to the changes and hurdles it entails. But first thing's first, so stay tuned for the upcoming release.

Sorry for your loss.. this year had to let go my dog whom accompanied me through tough times, she would rest on my legs keeping me company on those late night plays or join me at the office so we both wont feel alone... we probably needed them more than they need us, just be glad we were lucky enough to have such a good bond...

I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your loss. I'm devastated every time this happens with a pet. I can only imagine how you feel because each pet is so unique and special to each of us. I'm sure Shiva was an absolutely wonderful kitty and she seems so affectionate and loving. Your work is so appreciated and I will mourn the loss of your loving helper. Please take any time you need to grieve. We love this game but I doubt anyone here is hard pressed for some fixed schedule of releases. Live your life as best you can. <3

Sorry for your loss, and an affectionate farewell to Shiva. We and our furry friends can enrich each other's lives greatly, but it is often the lot of us long-lived mammals to be the survivors and mourners.

I want to say that I'm also sorry to hear about your cat. My sister recently lost one of her cats, and I still remember what it was like to lose our dog almost four years ago. There's nothing that we can say that can make it better... but I can remember the good times with my dog now without feeling sad about it.... It took a while, but in time you'll have the good memories without the pain of absence... or at least not as much pain. I'm sure you know all this. You have my best wishes.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. On those pictures she reminds me a lot of my own cat that I lost a couple years ago, mine even had the same lone white whisker ! I'm sure you gave her a good life, which is all we can do for our furballs.
