🕑 Added 2022-06-07 09:01:20 +0000 UTCHi folks! Hope you're doing well today. For a while, I've been seeing some chat in my comments about the possibility of creating a DMinspo Discord.
I've noticed that other creators use Discord as a space to help people connect, find games, and just generally hang out, so I'm wondering if that's something we should do!
I'd love to hear from you about what you'd like to see on a DMinspo Discord. How would you use it? What would you want to get from it that you're unable to get elsewhere?
As with everything I'm doing here, I don't want to launch something unless it's going to be genuinely useful and fun for you folks, so please feel free to comment on this post and voice your thoughts.

Think I have asked about it on your youtube before, so definitely would be wanting to join. Would be great to have a place to discuss ideas and just generally chat with other d&d enthusiasts.
For sure! Especially if your discord has a safe space for people to share ideas. And if you have an easy way to connect all of your content there.
Very valid points, David, thank you! I definitely want to try and distinguish it from all the (many) other D&D discords out there, so a focus on homebrew content, creative collaboration, and practical stuff like connecting players with DMs would be great.

If it's just a place to chat D&D I think it's the same as all the other discords out there. But if it was a discord set up like your tik tok I think it would be beneficial. What does that mean? Ideally I'd like to see some of the following: - game advice (running monsters, homebrew mechanic tips, etc) - content review (is it worth picking up that new sourcebook or just wait for the sales) - map guides and or tutorials - worldbuilding tips - find a game with others - resource sharing like guides on world creation or new magic systems for DMs looking to try something new That sort of stuff. I get that most of those topics depend on community involvement to keep them going, but if the intention is there and it flops, you'll know it wasn't because of anything on your part.
