$1K Goals, Coffee, Character-Auction, and More!

Greetings friends, as you may have read the title, we just hit $1000 on the Patreon, well actually we hit it a couple days ago, but the team had to have quite a few conversations before I could write this post.
Firstly, thank you all, truly. I'm enjoying the break I'm taking right now though it's not really exactly a break for me more performing a familial obligation. Enough about me though, let's talk about what I need to say.
Firstly, we've made the decision to update some of our milestone goals. The reason for these changes is due to a rather unrealistic belief when I'd made them back in October. The shading of CGs and Sprites will eventually happen, but we simply can't make it happen any faster due to Shiuk's other time commitments, and I can't really ask him to drop said commitments, that's just not fair to him, his followers, or anyone else working with him.
So to replace this goal, we've now begun the search for another writer. Not editor, writer. Various family situations as well as work keeping me down, it's become clear we need another writer to assist in the story, both to enhance what we have, as well as to keep our pace going while not killing our editors with a late script. (Sorry Editors.)
We've also updated all of the upcoming goals, and admittedly one is fairly vague, but also... I'm not expecting to hit that goal this year... so hopefully I don't need to think of something substantial until 2022. You're all just so supportive. uwu

Moving on to the other exciting thing... we are going to hold an auction, yes, an auction. What are you bidding on? Why you're bidding on a character slot, to be one of the barista's in Elliot's cafe. You choose the design and maybe provide us with a bit of personality traits, and we provide the lines and visual sprite in the story using your design as reference.
The auction will be starting next month and be exclusive to y'all the patrons, this being our celebration for hitting 1K. There will be rules for the winner, the OC the winner gives us must have 2 legs and 2 arms, no more, no less. Additionally, they cannot be a sparklefur, to expand on this, they cannot glow, they cannot be an extreme tapestry of neon green and black with a violet undertone, with golden sclera. If you're wondering if they'd pass the test, just feel free to ask in the comments, but generally I'd recommend leaning towards natural colors.
But yes, an auction, and more on that to follow in the coming weeks, as well as some more polls and finally getting around to those Golden Stag posts where I talk about how we made Mason and Zoe the way that we did. Good stuff all around, thank you all for everything. <3

The character role intended is a non-psychic role, so while you may request an ability, the fulfillment of that request at this time is very low.

This depends on how natural looking they are, though it's possible the exact genealogy of the species will not be divulged into unless deemed necessary by the plot.

If you have a link I could give a more finite answer. Though that doesn't SOUND unreasonable, given lizard scales tend to have a wider range of "natural" colors.

Well his eyes are just gold but otherwise he looks like any other red panda you'd see in the wild. But it's okay, it's probably better if someone else wins it! :)

That is generally the case, I gave an extreme, but any of those traits COULD be a disqualifier, it depends on how extreme the trait is, and how flexible you are on tweaking of the design.
