Your doing gods work Harry. I started working on my first hand drawn cartoon a few months ago. I thought with a limited scope, short runtime, and a very small cast of characters I could muscle something out in a few months, but even that is time-consuming. It really gives me alot more respect for what guys like you can accomplish. You really do make this look easy.

True. The only iffy thing about it is closing gaps which is a bit tricky but you can also always convert your pencil lines to brush lines after the fact. But I guess since you color in Animate it doesn't matter so much anyway :D

Thanks Nuno! I am very comfortable with Animate as I've been using it since I was 15. Toon Boom has much better drawing and clean-up tools, so I tend to do my actual drawing in Harmony, and then bring it back to Animate for things like compiling/timing/camera moves. It's weird, I know, but I'm a weird guy!

Yes!! I am a total pencil convert. It's so great combined with the envelope tool! Lots of opportunities for re-use of art :)

Hey Harry! I'm also an animator, not as talent as you, but I still try my best! I also use ToonBoom and I think it's miles ahead of Adobe Animate. But I noticed you switch between both, why is that?

Don't feel too bad not being able to tell people in your life what's new... you either work a job where it's the same story as last time... "Welp, still conducting trains, like I was the last 30 times we spoke," or so specialized that 90% of the words are Greek to someone not in the industry.... "Welp... I'm implenting a new ERP system that utilizes the SSL cert as an authentication for......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"... The good thing about being an animator is most people who DO understand what you do forgive you working on the same thing for ever lol! Keep at it, even the most complex work gets done one line at a time!
