Update #8
🕑 Added 2024-08-19 15:31:32 +0000 UTCTime for another update. Things are not going as well as I would've liked. The injections have helped clear up some of the weakness I was experiencing in my wrists, and I'm able to spend longer periods of time at my computer using the mouse or scrolling on my tablet. Unfortunately, I continue to struggle with arm fatigue, numbness and tingling in my pinky and ring fingers, and burning pain in my elbow and forearm, which suggests to me that the main problem area is the cubital tunnel after all.
I'm switching up from wearing a wrist brace at night to an elbow brace, and have started doing ulnar nerve glide exercises... We'll see if any of that that helps. I have a follow-up visit with my doctor in September to discuss the next steps. Very frustrating. :/
In the meantime, I'm experimenting with drawing in my sketchbook for brief sessions to see what I can tolerate.
In other news, Ecchistar has been working on some video projects, the first of which involves our collaborative Lifeguard Tifa illustration. You can see him refining my rough sketch. More soon.
