so a few weeks ago, i asked if any of y'all would be down to hear me do a monthly little check in where i talk about a particular topic and share some of my writing in relation to the specific topic or whatever. i've been trying to work through some things in my personal life and thought it'd be fun to let you guys in on my journey through this.
this first piece is about an ex of mine who reached out to me this month after years of not speaking (which was on purpose on my end). this is someone who emotionally and mentally abused me for 3 years so it send me on a whole spiral.
i hope this will help any of you who have an ex reaching out to you or who have some sort of unresolved feelings concerning a significant other who previously hurt you.

I can deadass say that I would have a panic attack if my ex-wife contacted me. Thank you for sharing. I still think my ex is the villain, as I can’t trust any of my memories of my time with her due to the intense gaslighting that I endured.
