Honestly I agree with grandma. Now if we see technically grandma is also a mythical creature/godly figure and her job is to protect the world not just one person just cuz you know them. Yes there could be a loophole or whatever but at this point even all grandma knows is that the world is at stake. Yes I agree Lee Yeon canโt do it cuz he has personal ties, also he gave up his mountain God position already for Aheum/Jiah. Hence as an outsider and a godly person I feel she can atleast try something. So I get grandma. Tho on a personal level, I am also curious like if all of this is destiny then does that mean whatever/whoever set the fate and Jiahโs death date did so knowing that thereโs a loophole? Likeโฆ waah idk how to express my thoughts haha. Like if you do let things flow without intervention will it go to a good resolution in the end? Idk haha. Now my brain hurts trying to think this haha. Thank god Iโm not making such decisions in life. ๐คง โ- Oh David that is so true. Grandmaโs husband didnโt take a stand for his son tho? i am loving your reaction for this show ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Regarding what Kevin said that if we are siding with Lee Rang then we should also agree with Imugi. Thats not how i think, Lee Rang's motivation is more because most of his life he have only seen the selfish people who don't care for anyone other than themselves, e.g., his mother, the village people, the guy who gave up his father's watch for an expensive one, the people who were torturing Yuri, etc. Imagine 600 years of seeing this who will not hate humanity as a whole. Imugi on the other hand have totally different motivations for who he is. I found it very funny when Lee Yeon took Jiah for the date trip. I was thinking the same thing, what if the imugi comes when they are doing it, So awkward for Imugi, he would be like I cannot face Lee Yeon anymore, going to sleep mode for another few years ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ I think the reason Tae Ri called Jiah the next morning saying she is a ticking time bomb is because he felt something and he was like please don't do this, Imugi will take over your body ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Yuri is so adorable, she is like a cute pet :) I think Imugi just took her to have some company, because technically she is a weak fox and no way she can face Lee Yeon or Lee Rang.

How could it be posted just when Iโm about to sleep๐ฉ Will be the first thing I watch when I wake upโค๏ธ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ I was visiting friends that live a few hours from me so thatโs why I was taking the train home๐ For work I just have to walk cause itโs like a 10 minute walk from my house๐๐ป โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Since you asked I will answer. Yes I believe that Imugiโs actions are understandable to some degree, if what he explained about what he went through is true. But itโs not to the degree which I understand Lee Rang. Imugiโs motivations are different, more selfish than Lee Rangโฆ from how I view it at least. Imugi has the goal of taking revenge on Lee Yeon and take back the role he believes he is entitled to, mountain god. While doing this he doesnโt care how many or who he hurts/kills. He failed to ascend to the sky and thus lost the position of becoming mountain god of the Baekdu mountain. This position went to Lee Yeon instead. He blames Lee Yeon for all the bad things he went through after that. And what those bad things are we don't really know. Lee Rang on the other hand doesnโt really have a goal in mind. Him being a bad person is only because heโs seen and experienced the bad side of life. He has been betrayed by people he love, abused, seen how selfish humans areโฆ Itโs easy to say that โoh, why didnโt he just focus in the good things instead?โ. People operate and process experiences, conversations and memories differently. If you constantly see and experience bad things itโs hard to focus on the good. This is why I view both their actions as understandable cause I canโt judge on how they process everything they go through and what the outcome will be. Two people can go through the same exact thing and still end up as two completely different people. They will remember the events differently and have different responses to situations. No brain is the other alike. I also think the reason I understand Lee Rang more is cause we actually got to see some of the things he went through and the emotions he felt. In Imugi's case we only heard about it and it was Imugi himself that told the story. But like with Lee Rang it does not excuse Imugiโs behaviour. He is still a bad โpersonโ that does horrible things. And just cause I see their actions as understandable it does not mean that I condone them! Understandable yes, excusable noโฆ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Their little married couple role-play was so cute. Trying to get away from reality even if itโs just for a moment. Cute but sad at the same timeโฆ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ I came up with so many dirty jokes involving a tail during the bed scene๐ Iโm so embarrassed by myself that I donโt even wanna write them here๐ I need a cleansing and I need it know!! โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ That first sentence of her letter was actually a little creepy! โIโm writing this as Iโm watching you sleepโ????? The once that ended up as food to Imugi. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Yu-riโs words hurt me as much as they hurt Shin-juโฆ I see why she was so hard on him but that doesnโt make it any easier to listen toโฆ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Poor Shin-ju, both his heart and body got beat up๐ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ โItโs traitorpoxโ Kevin stopppppp๐ I had to pause cause I was laughing so hard! But the scene after when the cop spat out the snake(?) egg... gross! โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ The plan was actually pretty clever cause now they know how Imugi changes bodies/host. I think the original plan was to kill Imugiโs soul with he sword but since they couldnโt get a hold of the fortune teller guy then they had to change it. So they still gained information. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ From the grandmaโs point of view, killing Ji-ah is the best option and like David said for the greater good. Itโs one person instead of thousands if not millions of lives. She doesnโt have the same attachment to Ji-ah as Lee Yeon does and therefor she can make the decision easier. But you can see that she is still struggling a little at the end when it comes to changing the date of death. And speaking of the date, for someone that preaches fate and destiny isnโt it a little hypocritical if she goes and changes the date of death? I just wanted to bring up the question since we have been discussing Lee Yeon being a hypocrite and going against what he preaches.
