Hello! To tell the truth this not necessary. You can drive you colors without split color node. I think i just forgot delete this not. You need color spliter if you want to choose separate color from RGB.

Here is a mograph animation. If you want to bake this use mograph cache. Mograph cache can bake all mograph parameters.
