First Attack animation

Here's the wip of the first attack animation. As you noticed, still no head, boobs or clothing.
The first step of every humanoid animation is to define legs, then body and arms. It facilitates a lot when we have that defined.
As this animation is taking so so long, I decided to share with you all this process. I will still take a couple of days for each missing part: head, boobs and clothing.
Do you like to see this type of behind-the-scenes? Or should I post only when it is completed?

You know, I still don't know if I really should accelerate the animation. I have 3 options now: 1- Leave this animation as a 'strong' attack and animate more faster ones. 2- Make the game like Monster Hunter and have the animations take their time to happen. We can even have shorter animations too or others more developed. 3- Make that animation as an 'upgrade', in case the player wants more stronger but timed options. I believe each would fit well, but I admit that I like the idea of having lots of different movements (quicker or slower) with different weapons (really, check some of the Monster Hunter animations, they're awesome!)

It's good to show your progress. Also, I imagine the finished animation will be quicker?
