The Atelier Tier, Color Study #3, Complimentary

The projects that are out now go from the 1st Bargue project all the way to painting in FULL color. This is a 50 part series that covers your drawing and painting foundation in the western atelier style.
In this lesson we are wrapping up the color painting stage that will compliment the underpainting we completed last lesson.
Materials you will need to complete this lesson:
Palette here is: Lead or titanium white, cadmium lemon yellow, yellow-brown, vermillion extra, alizarin crimson, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue and ivory black. The support is acrylic primed linen, very fine weave.
Brushes: mostly filbert shape synthetic wonder whites from Blick.com
Medium: a little bit of linseed oil

Much in the same way. Maybe paint the darks of the portrait first, background and them lights.
