Block-In Bootcamp 2.0: A Monthly Drawing Challenge
🕑 Added 2025-08-29 09:50:02 +0000 UTCStarting in October, Block-In Bootcamp will run as a monthly challenge. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: A New Project Each Month
At the beginning of the month, you’ll get access to a new 90-minute drawing video and source image. I’ll walk you through a complete block-in project from start to finish.Step 2: Take on the Challenge
Your job is to create the same drawing project. Everyone works on the same assignment, which means you’re learning alongside a whole community tackling the same problems.Step 3: Group Critique at the End of the Month
We’ll close the month with a longer group critique session. This is where the real progress happens: you’ll see your work in context, get direct feedback, and learn from the solutions others have found. You'll also get a chance to ask all the questions you thought up while you were drawing 👌
The rhythm is simple: watch → draw → reflect. Each month you’ll get a new chance to build skills, test yourself, and see where you’ve grown. The format keeps you focused, holds you accountable, and turns practice into a shared challenge 🤘
By the end of each month you’ll have a finished drawing and a clear understanding of where you’re improving and what to tackle next.

I read the above description. So, the students have nearly a month to work on? How many drawing will you assign? I am thinking one month will give you plenty of time even for a busy person.
