God let’s hope not lol There are afew interesting things in korra, but it just dosn’t have the same charm imo it looses alot of what made avatar special

God i’d been wanting to be in on this forever, seeing and hearing my name in the credits of a series i’v been enjoying since book 1 is surreal

Miguel Novais

I was waiting on the kill compilation for so long, what about when aang punctured a war balloon did you forget that?

Albert Rhodes

As far as Boomy pulling down the statue goes, I was always under the assumption that he pulled the pegs he shot into the face. I also noticed this time around that they show pillars rising to lift it when they show the base.

Zane falrey

Holy shit. The editing A1, the jokes A1, the analysis, FUCKING A1. You can see how much you have grown from season one videos to this i am so hype for the last two. Thank you for the entertainment on one my favorite shows of all time.

Hayden Thomas Casdorph

people might have contracted June to try and find people that were taken by spirits like in the winter solstice.

Isaac Smith

"He's dead and so is Aang" "oh well" I wheezed

StudioTrash

this is my favorite episode, imo this show is at its best when its just talking

Fierce

Obviously Boomy is a metal bender. The only other thing he could be bending is those giant pieces of bread he lodged in the statue’s face, and we all know that’s impossible

Fierce

ACKtually the painted lady had a double meaning. Both the spirit, and the fact that Katara painted her face.

I think that the Iroh/Zuko reunion ending on a joke is a spot on interpretation of how two estranged family members that love and care for each other deeply would reunite. Zuko's apology is incredibly sincere and Iroh is just happy to see Zuko again, but this time the Zuko he always knew was in there somewhere. I think it's completely natural to crack a tearful joke after that level of catharsis

Heath Colon

chin's little smiley face belt is similar to the one that play- mai was wearing last episode

Jakob Connell

If you look closely, you can see about 5 pillars of earth pushing the statue up to show he is using earthbending for it.

genaro

That bittersweet feeling that you feel when the end of a good thing is almost here. Thank you so much for this series!!!!!!!

Charles Barnett

Also, just imagine for a second. You are arranged to be married, move to the other side of the world to escape the outdated traditions of the Northern Water tribe, start a family in the south, have a child, then two grand children, then the guy who you were arranged to be married shows up after (assuming Katara and Sokka's mother died in her early-to-mid 30s {HEY WAIT A SECOND! When we see Katara's mother before dying, Katara is able to walk and talk, but earlier when Sokka tries to leave with the other men, Katara is still an infant!}, assuming Gran Gran left in her mid-20s, then the 14 years {using Katara's age}) roughly 50-60 years, and then re-proposes to you.

Charles Barnett

Is it not a common thing to carry raw meat with you when going into a bar, where you live?

Jose Alvarado

Is. Korra next ?

Kurman Dhaliwal

June probably does see a lot of cases of people just vanishing into thin air. . We know that Koh crosses over every so often to steal faces, so it's not a stretch that other spirits might do some kidnapping from time to time

Still waiting for all of them to hit youtube to marathon all of the finale. And to make it last longer until the end. Been a great ride, listening to your takes.

Trace Carter

he sleeps with it under his pillow.

hays collins

I get chills EVERYTIME I hear Yangchen give her speech. It’s sooooo good. It’s like poetry

Jona Kats

Climbing to the finale. Overanalyzing overanalyzing avatar, I believe this is the longest episode yet at 19 minutes. Regardless, just as good, happy to be here!

ok.Regan

as the end dawns, i just want to mention that i will still be a part of the patreon no matter how much the content veers off from this, as long as we get another overanalyzing style video series when the live action comes out, even if its 10 years from now

Matty Clark

omg the last episode is going to come out on patreon on my birthday :) what a treat

Mason

I agree with you on the Iroh reunion scene. Impossible to watch without tearing up. It’s like a mini Turing test. If you cry, you have a soul. If not, well…..

Jose Vera

You make me look up to Tuesdays so much with OA. I am super excited for the finale and hope your episode is a bit longer so you can cover all the points you want. Thank you for this amazing series!

Savannah Smith

He forgot to give the shoe back and it became so late it’d be awkward if he did but he feels rude throwing it away so it is now with him forever
