3:23 It's a scooter, not a moped. While often erroneously used interchangeably, they are very different. A moped has pedals (it's actually a portmanteau of "motor" and "pedal") and is more like a gas-powered bike. Scooters are motorcycles with step-through frames (like the Vespa). They have very different development histories and legal standings as well.

They also removed the most admirable trait of hot-head heroes. They do not hesitate to come to the defense of the helpless. Her Uncle was obvious in his mistreatment of the South but she stood by and did nothing for the first half of the season.

I feel like the jokes made at the expense of the show in both this and Ember Island Players really highlights the quality difference in the two shows. With Avatar, it’s just a one off filler episode. With Korra, it’s one of the main 5 villains. That’s actually kinda crazy. I feel like the issue with Korra isn’t the idea of a hothead becoming more likable. I think the core of it is just they developed her too quickly in season 1 because they thought that was all they were gonna get, and they made the mistake of resetting her character in season 2, combined with the contrivance of believing a villain so hated the show outright mocks him. Outside of season 2, I think Korra is a strong character that goes toe to toe with Aang. They just messed up season 2 so bad that it did irreparable damage to people’s perception of her
