I was ready to defend the Zaheer scene as one of the better moments in S3 but I really think you swayed me. I agree that the creators probably didn’t intend it how you’re reading it, but I don’t know that that changes the toxicity in Zaheer’s ‘lesson’. Obviously I can see the angle that it’s empowering, which is how it seems to be intended, but maybe someone other than Zaheer should have delivered it.
