Plans for post Korra
🕑 Added 2025-03-09 20:35:39 +0000 UTCHello all, so heres the idea. Over the next two tuesdays you'll get the final two episodes of Korra. After that I have an idea for a review/comparison style video of ATLA and Korra together that I think will come out about 2 weeks after the finale. To you guys on patreon first of course.
Now with how my video creation process will have to change after Korra ends, probably longer writing processes as I transition my style a bit, posts will be less frequent, but hopefully of advanced quality and on a variety of topics.
Because of the more time needed for the creation process, I'll be knocking the advanced content on patreon down from 2 videos to 1, until I stabilize a new work flow and find a groove again. I'm also moving at the end of the month, but that'll be over and done with without too much hassle I hope. Anyway, you guys will always get advanced content by at least one video, thats the plan at least.
So how that'll work is that the week after you guys get the finale, I'll still post the 2nd to last video to youtube on the following tuesday, and then the finale to youtube on the day you guys get the longer comparison/review video. So you guys will still always be one video ahead.
Of course thanks to everyone for the support through the series, you guys have really changed my life, and even bigger thanks to those who stick around after Korra ends. Have a lot of stuff planned that I think you'll enjoy.

Brand new to Pateron. Just joined to say thanks for the videos. Been watching since the Drill. Wanted to vote for Invincible, still watching it but it's honestly my favorite animated show since ATLA. Above Korra IMO. I just feel whatever it is, you should probably announce it early or commit to it as I know there's going to be a fan drop off for a bit and maybe going with something currently active would be a good way to expand your audience size, like Alt Shift X did with game of thrones back in the day. Would be cool to watch it with you :)

You do tremendous work. There's still quite a bit of avatar to go Korra comics Kyoshi Novels Yangchen Novels Roku Novel After that, maybe check out other shows. You'd really enjoy Invincible, I think. Really good character work and the stakes are just as high as they were in Airbender.

Still hoping for either an overanalyzing Loch Ness, or maybe just a cryptid video in general. You know, Nessy, Mothman, the Jackalope, chupacabra, etc. Maybe we can do some other fictional things too, like Overanalyzing Dragons or Overanalyzing Magic swords. Maybe he could do a rebrand, maybe just be called “Overanalyzing X”, so he can open up avenues to talk about stuff that isn’t Avatar. I’d imagine it’s something that’s crossed his mind, Avatar isn’t an endlessly milked franchise (yet), so there’s only so much content to go around.

what about underanalyzing korra? the underanalyzing avatar were great already. now, i'm no content creator, but in my unprofessional and unqualified opinion, it would seem easy to make since you already have all the overanalyzing and just need to pick the best parts, but correct me if i'm wrong
