"There is a perfectly mundane explanation that would require a not even remotely mundane amount of spiders." Like, if there were enough to *encase* a grown man's corpse in web within a week, the neighbors would call an exterminator first, they would not only realize when they smelled death.

I still think about this one a lot. Brings back memories of the wolf spider(s) that enjoyed living under the same roof as I did when I was a kid. Really good job encapsulating went based fears!
