I've just started to listen to these. Well, I say "just", but I suppose I am on episode 132 at this point. Either way, I've been binging it. Subscribed to the patreon around hitting the end of season 2, but this is the first time I've been compelled to leave a comment on one. They're all fantastic, of course, but Daisy in this one just... hurt my heart. Actual tears in my eyes. I wanted to say "bravo" to Fay's beautiful acting, Jon's writing and the haunting sound design. I'm claustrophobic, and this wasn't an easy one, but my favorite by far.

The sound design on this episode is absolutely incredible?? How on earth do you make the sound of Jon moving through the tunnel so real? I could FEEL it, it was terrible and fantastic. A++

Oh man, in the lead-up to this episode I was so worried about what the characters might do that I forgot that the episode itself might scare me quite badly. And it did lol... I was kind of shaking a little for a bit there. My fear of the Buried aside, these performances were so good! Fay especially! I'm just star-struck, this was so excellent. And the end there? Wah, my feelings... Basira!!!

I think this is your best episode yet. Wow! Wonderful performance by Fay, she made me laugh and cry. As for the Buried - it seems to cancel out the other powers. That’s very interesting. And maybe a way to break Martin free of The Lonely’s grasp? (Traumatic, but effective)

I honestly thought this was going to be the first episode I'd have to skip. There are two episodes--both focused on The Dark--that scare me too much to relisten to, but this one. I had to stop and LITERALLY catch my breath three times because I was hyperventilating and dizzy. I can handle the close spaces aspect of The Buried, and I love the caves and flood aspects wholeheartedly. But Choke. I have too much experience with not being able to breathe, with fearing you'll die for not breathing, and. Man. It was really, really hard for me to get through this. So glad I did, the payoff was fantastic, Fay and Jonny were amazing... But I think I'll have to reference the transcript for this one going forward, for my own good. Great job, guys!

So, Daisy has been my least favorite character for a long time. Like, there are literal monsters that I’d rather be in a room with. idk, anyone attached to The Hunt immediately makes my hackles rise. But the writing and the acting in this episode hit me directly in the feels and softened me to her, and not just a little bit. Now I’m extra excited to see where things go with her!
