(ok now that there's less danger of spoiling people) The line "It's not in your blood or your soul or your destiny, it's just in your own rotten luck" is great and I laughed aloud also I anticipated the 'mark from every power' thing, I kinda thought we might get the Watcher's Crown by the end of this season, I did not remotely expect the magnitude of what actually happened and I'm so happy. (it would 100% be a cop out not to have the whole tentacles descending from the sky moment in a cosmic horror story, and still most of those stories end the moment that happens)

I don't want to spoil folks with a comment so I don't want to get into specifics, although aaaaaa I really want to comment on specifics. Lots of details of characterization and the mechanics of how and why things happened here that I love. As a commenter above said, though, this ep would be the last episode ever of so many other shows; the fact that there's a whole last season left and I trust TMA to be tightly planned and plotted from end to end is really exciting. I have no idea what you'll do now and I can't wait to find out.

Ok I have never, ever, in all my years of consuming any kind of media had a finale be this SATISFYING. The build up, the acting, the audio work, the payoff, it was all absolutely perfect?? Six months is going to be a long wait for everyone who loves this show, but honestly I do not care about the wait. Everyone at Rusty Quill involved in this series in ANY way should be so immensely proud of what they've created. But mostly, thank you so much to Jonny and Alex for helping to bring such a heartwrenching, heartwarming, terrifying experience to all of our lives. Thank you.

But we know there's at least forty more episodes to come, and I have no clue where they're going to go.
