Best wishes from Rusty Towers this Monday! It’s another reasonably short update from us this week, though there’s a lot on the schedule, so there’s plenty going on that that we hope that you can enjoy.
We’ve got a jam-packed RQ Streams for you, as we continue to experiment with the schedule. As well as our regular shows, we are pleased to welcome 2020 Hugo Finalist and RQ Friend Alasdair Stuart (VA for Peter Lukas) from EA Podcasts on Sunday! And making their returns to the channel, Tessa and Helen have more to show and cook this week. And talking of temporal experimentation – Tessa’s stream is planned for a more US-friendly time, 5pm PDT on Thursday (1am BST Friday), so just be aware of timings there.
Meanwhile, out in the depths of Stellar Firma Ltd company ship, someone is in trouble. And trouble requires restitution. As part of his mandated service and a future broadcast to our community of valued citizen-employees, Trexel Geistman wants to hear about your problems. Do you have a situation that is vexing you? In long-awaited merch news, I’m pleased to announce that the transparent versions of the Season 5 logo for The Magnus Archives and the Stellar Firma logo are now available on our Redbubble store! The alternate versions are labelled [Transparent] as the existing ones with the black background are still available, since certain items do look better with them. So please ensure that you’re selecting the right version before you order.
Work is also well underway for a new set of designs that we’re hoping to show off soon, and will comprise Wave 2 of our offerings for this year. Tentatively scheduled for August, we’ve got something for all three of our current shows, including a new piece from Anika Khan for The Magnus Archives, and some more of April’s fantastic art for RQ Streams.
For Rusty Knights and Nobles, the beta copy of the Ensemble TRPG core rules released for playtesting last week, and we’re looking forward to hearing what you are doing with it. As a reminder, we won’t be opening the feedback form just yet, so you’ve got plenty of time to digest it and hopefully get some games in. There is also a new channel on our Discord (#ensemble-discussion) for talking about the ruleset.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we have already mapped out what is happening during the season break. Also, with 2 public episodes and 2 Patreon bonus eps from the Season 4 mailbag, I suspect Jonny & Alex would give me some very strong glares if I suggested they answer more questions :P

Not sure if y'all have already commented on this, but would you consider doing some kind of QnA 4.25 for TMA during the 6 week break? Nothing that discusses spoilers, but i remember that back after season 4 you mentioned there were questions you couldn't get to in that QnA and now might give you time to answer? I totally understand if you're already too busy/stressed, just throwing the idea out there if you need to fill the content?

I'm really excited to see Alasdair reads on here; his bedtime stories have been keeping me company while I work and dang he's a pleasure to listen to. Excellent story choices on his part, too.
