i'm relistening to this episode 2 months later and genuinely in tears all over again from 1) laughing, 2) loving everyone SO MUCH. God, it doesn't stop, character moment after character moment, from moving to hilarious but always so sweet. Definitely a huge favourite episode.

So great! Loving Azu and Hamid's friendship, Barnes' backstory, Wilde's secret bartending skills, and everything about Cel. And the ballgown! And the spikes! And "gyroscoptics"--yes, Ben, some of us appreciated your joke. I would say that I wish this journey would go on forever, but I'm afraid of activating the monkey's paw that is Alex's storytelling brain, so I won't.

I loved this, it was so cute! After the heaviness of what people have been through recently (I feel sooooo deeply sorry for Sasra) it felt good for the crew, and us as listeners, to relax a bit! Also, Cel was going to “wear Carter in a headlock” as their outfit, then turned into a giant penguin. I now have images in my head of a giant penguin walking about with Carter in a headlock!!!

Every new episode, somehow, I love the kobolds a little more (I may have flapped a hand in the middle of the street from sheer happiness at the pronouns talk, and also THE MUSIC). This was so sweet! New favourite episode! How are you doing this! I'm so happy everyone is doing better! Azu&Hamid's ball gown dress, the hand-holding, the band, Zolf mediating, the Carter bullying! Absolutely adorable from start to finish! ;v;
