To be fair, "two finger salute" is standard usage for a salute with only the index and middle finger extended, either because that’s the correct form in some military services (or so Google tells me), or as that kind of casual, sloppy brush-the-fingertips-against-the-forehead gesture. As well as the euphemistic meaning. So Alex is using the correct term for what he’s trying to describe, it’s just that human language is ambiguous and confusing!

Have to agree, I am both looking forward to the resolution and dreading it being over. Especially as now TMA has finished and Stellar Firma is finishing.

You know, a few weeks ago I thought, 'Maybe the simulacrum evolved and multiplied itself and took over the world?' I even typed up a whole comment about it and then deleted it because I thought, 'No, that's stupid. No one will go for that.' And now here we are! I love a chatty episode, especially when that chat involves (a) Wilde and (b) lore and answers. It's great to finally be able to put more of the pieces together, and I'm *very* interested in hearing what Barrett has to say. It's a shame Sasha isn't around anymore, because that would have been such an interesting dynamic. But this is all starting to feel really final and that makes me so sad because the end is coming. I started listening to RQG after I caught up with TMA and although I still love Magnus, it's RQG that has my heart.

That bit with Zolf’s reaction and the ticking clock was some superb sound engineering. I love that Gragg is back and I am HERE for Grazu! Alex doing the conversation between Wild and Gragg was just amazing! But how did Alex not know that a two-finger salute is a euphemism for a really rude gesture in the U.K. 😂 I cannot get the image out of my head now of Barrett just turning up and sticking two fingers up at Zolf and I’m dying! 😂

My absolute favourite part was the Gragg and Wilde conversation before the break. Alex DID have his NPCs talk to each other for lore! (Though we knew that lore.) And calling Barret the real exposition? Excellent :D

Love how this is both a quintessential RQG episode (group FINALLY reconvenes, immediately start horrible argument, Ben's character storms off) and a very unusual one. Plot answers?? In MY Rusty Quill Gaming?? :O I'm legit in shock, but that was so cool! I had pieced together, or seen other people do so, most of these elements and still gasped in shock at so many places (esp. loved the use of the word "flowered" and the entire delivery of that bit), not to mention the new stuff I had absolutely not anticipated (CURIE?? ;_; BARRET?? >:[ ). And yeah, the group hug was incredible and well-appreciated and I'm so happy Wilde joined in and so mad Zolf didn't x'D

But, but they found the head and gauntlet in Ep 7-8. Did it bloom from the chest piece? All of the pieces? Does killing the main mature bloom bring everything to a halt? Kill all four blossoms? The best kinds of answers are the ones that bring more questions!

what i want to know is: is curie DEAD dead, or infected? and if she's infected, how much did she know about the party's plans re: svalbard, investigating the seed, where hamid's family was hiding, etc.? because if the blue veins know everything she knew that might be uhhhhhhhh Bad
