That may not be your cup of tea, but I thought use of that sound effect was pretty innovative. The scene in which it appears wasn't supposed to be enjoyable. It was supposed to be discomforting, and that sound conveyed something in ways that words alone couldn't. Good on the creators for experimenting.

All of those cameos just made my DAY... though I’m not sure I can quite suspend my disbelief enough to see Alex as an angry shouting boss xD I’ve been excited about this for ages but I really wasn’t ready!!! The sound effects in this episode are viciously anti-misophonia sufferers :( please be aware that sounds like pouring liquid, swallowing or chewing can be pretty uncomfortable and maybe don't have them at a volume that suggests the microphone is in their actual mouth :p
