The first descriptions of the genre had me in stitches already, and Nemo is dead-on about Naruto :D A delight, as usual!

This was WONDERFUL, so fun and fannish and enthusiastic :D I grow exponentially more hyped for TF and CHAQL every time we have someone involved in those shows on EGSM, and that's totally not just because Nemo has a correct and accurate opinion on Naruto. I've got to admit, though -- for me, yeah, it's the costumes, it's just costumes, if costumes then it's period and if costumes good then i love it regardless of whether the rest is any good.

I am downloading the transcript just to write down all the recommendations (as usual) also might totally rewatch The Terror just for the clothing element (and, if pirates shows enter Black Sails superior Period Drama -and Our Flags Mean Death Period Comedy-)

Thank you for making me want to rewatch The Musketeers, I just watched it for the first time last year and I adore it (I didn't want Sylvie to end up with Athos but it was because I thought she was too good for him. I love the character but he has *issues*. I did like him much better with her than with Milady. They were very bad for each other)
