As a NOT audio-connaisseur fan, happy to confirm: -big gratitude and appreciation to the audio nerds among the fanbase who do pick up on all the cool stuff and share their finds and enthusiasm with us, you know who you are, I send you kisses and paper hearts -I could never in a million years have articulated it before listening to this episode, but yes, I remember being struck early into the show by how the miracle workers of sound editing had somehow managed to carry across the <i>humidity and heat</i> of the environment through audio form. And similarly, although I couldn't have pinpointed what it was that made it so special and auditorily pleasing, in my recent relisten I had a specific wonder and fondness for how good the rythmic "Heave! Heave!" moment sounded. So!! extra congrats, even a very clueless-about-audio-craft listener did (sort of) notice!! :D Now I wish I was the specific person who could tell whether or not those sounds of a coelacanth flapping were accurate to reality...

I am a Broken record, but I LOVE when you into the editing, soundscaping, etc. You put so much work into It and It is soooo interesting (Also, LOVE THE ep's energy)

Every time I hear the RQ editors talk I'm so impressed by the work they do, and wow I did not even consider until now the extra level of work that went into historical accuracy. Huge round of applause for all the behind-the-scenes folks of Trice Forgotten!

Tremendously wholesome energy in this one :D I’m always astounded by how much detail goes into every tiny bit of the sound design — you guys are all amazing! And it’s working, too. I always feel utterly transported by Trice episodes. Historical settings can be so hard in audio, big big kudos and thank you all for all you do to make Trice not just good but FORMIDABLE all around<3
