What a perfect final episode. Thank you, Rusty Quill! "Funny. To think that our troubles will be over soon, one way or the other. We'll either be winners... or dead." It feels like the sound design was really amped up in this episode. The theatre felt so full of life, the senate hall echoed with grandeur, the street scenes were vivid and so real... This show has made me *more* excited for TMP, since I can't wait to hear Kazeem Tosin Amore, Sarah Lambie, Ryan Hopevere-Anderson and Ellie Dickens again! Spoilers below! The "Cry Havoc" speech! Hell yes The final play? That scene between Charmian and Octavia? Actual shivers holy shit. Almost enough to make me forget about the lads' plot... ah, here come the guards... Fulvia is such a shit-stirrer I love her so much lmao. What a girlboss "You can never tell with these people." "What, you mean Egyptians?" "No, women" lol Charmian asking Octavia to read her the entire Library of Alexandria... oh, my heart. Their goodbyes were so beautiful and oh no I may cry. Cleo hinting at conquering Rome... season 2? 👀 Aww, buying Lepidus' house for him was actually sweet. Less so, the boys wining and dining while the city burns... Help, Lepidus didn't invite Gauis and Mark to his party? Damnnnn Cleo dropping the bomb on Gauis!!! And that last bit... Was it an accident or not!! Ahhhhh!! In conclusion, I'm feeling normal

OKAY WOW WOW….. i can’t believe this was almost an hour long, it didn’t feel like it at all (in a good way! I usually struggle with podcast episodes more then thirty minutes long.) So engaging and tied up SO many plotlines, AND i’m already fiending for a second series… if that was at all a possibility👀👀 Gosh I love this characterization of Lepidus… everyone’s character work, really, was just phenomenal. Gratz to everyone who worked so hard on this it’s BEAUTIFUL! Now to binge the whole series again from the start😋
