Don’t know if you ended up listening? But I thought the same though I ended up listening cause I were at work and it’s pretty short! There’s a lot of character development and is quite a lovely show, have a great day !

=T Is this one any good at all? I'm finding the main characters utterly disgusting and vile. I think I may just like the first episodes and sick this one. Voice acting is on point to make me have such a reaction but ugh I don't think this is for me.

I'd forgotten just how hard this one swings right out of the gate. The music! All the telling little character moments! Loss and who's responsible to provide, eviction and reception, power grabs and consequences. Still amused at the swear budget yeeting out the window right from the start - in a show so unafraid to worry at your jugular, it does help to get cues that mature content is contained within and people's coping mechanisms aren't getting watered down or redacted for arbitrary proprieties. For all the supernatural elements, this show feels very real in its emotional beats - we all know people having a hard time and not dealing well. Characters like the ones in Inexplicables help humanize those struggles; they help us see the consequences, the opportunities of our own agency, that care is a verb that can do things, not a noun of helpless burden. Very glad this show is getting a public release now.
