I am so intrigued by the fact that Alice recognised the tape recorder and was so spooked by it that she ran away from someone she thought was dying. “I’m sorry, I can’t” She has seen these before and she knows that they mean trouble. I think she realised that this was something paranormal and wanted nothing to do with it, that is how she has survived this long.

No mention that the earliest sources that can be tied to her is from the Minoan period, is literally the embodiment of bloodshed and sacrifice.

I love this show so much, but I’m begging Rusty Quill to please ensure the audio is still comprehensible when there are echo effects. I was listening while driving, and the opening and ending sounded like gibberish to me. I had to pick up the transcript later to have any idea what happened

Awesome episode. I loved it and am going to be theorizing like anything. However, this is the second episode in a while where I’ ve been frustrated by information that is clear in the transcript but not the audio. Without the transcript , I would have had no clue that there was a tape recorder at the end, which is a really important detail! And a lot of listeners don’t read the transcripts. It’s similar to how a few weeks ago audio only viewers had no clue Celia was waking up on the side of the road in her pajamas.
