nooooooo I hate when sad things happen to sweet old people 😭 the travel journal is so cute and the trip was so well meaning… why couldn’t they have just had a lovely anniversary… by which I mean, great case! We’re definitely going to see that key someday, the computer “told” Gwen about it without any prompting. Maybe it can unlock JMJ’s prison?

Sacrificing a beloved one out of self-preservation is such a gut-wrenching, relatable theme. I loved it in Lost Johns' Cave and I love it here. And the fact that they are an old couple makes their situation even more tragic. Excellent job. Like everyone else, I love that the Archivist uses public transportation like a mere mortal. Hopefully, their all-knowing powers allow them to always secure a vacant seat.

Lena doesn’t give me Jonah vibes, but she’s undoubtedly more involved than she lets on. If she’s aligned with any of the Fears it would probably be the Web, or the Dark, with maybe a touch of Eye for the compulsion ability. It is interesting that she left when she did. We haven’t heard her do that before, so I assume it’s not common practice for her. Is she also going to Oxford, somehow? Or does she have her own machinations? I doubt she’s just leaving early for mundane reasons… 🤔
