So it's not telling me per se, but I have reasons to wonder: 1. In the OG universe, the story ends with the people rebuilding at the Magnus Institute, which was effectively ground-zero, and Georgie says 'some places never went back to normal'. 2. in the OG timeline, the change happens in 2018 (6 years ago not 5) and lasts 6 months ishhhhh. But points 1 and 2 could be ret-conning. 3. Someone coming from another dimension would surely be at the forefront of Georgie's mind, if she was part of the OG plan. She literally sent fears through the portal and knows that's where John and Martin went. Counterpoints - she knows the Magnus Institute, she knows the archivist, and she knows tape recorders. But here's another rub: no one in the new universe has mentioned the name Jonathan Sims. And the archivist DIED in this universe. maybe the OG universe? Maybe they thought Sims died? OR, this is a universe with a brand new archivist. What if it was Martin? What if it was Tim? (I'm getting excited just wondering about it!)

SPOILERS/THEORISING: So this says to me that this is not the OG world, that this is a new world that got changed by the fears escaping into this and other worlds. But as a consequence, the inhabitants of the world basically learnt everything from the first world (TMA) - which is absolutely hilarious if Georgie learnt her (inter dimensional) ex boyfriend is responsible for her situation!
