For those wanting to crucify Fuhad over “not liking Ellis” just because he was on his phone, there are a couple of things I noticed. I don’t want to speak for him, but from my view: 1. That moment didn’t really look like it was meant to make the final edit. It seemed like they were between segments. Normally, the guys aren’t on their phones or devices during the pod. But in this clip, James had a laptop/tablet in his lap typing, while Fuhad was on his phone—so both were occupied at the same time. 2. When James put his device away, his mic was also moved from his mouth, which makes it seem even more like it was just them chopping it up casually rather than “officially” recording. My guess is the editors decided to leave it in because Ellis was being so animated and entertaining with the pre-workout story. And let’s be real—Fuhad is never on his phone or humming while others are speaking in any of the other episodes. That’s out of character, which to me signals this wasn’t meant to come across the way people are taking it. So before jumping to conclusions, just compare this with how consistent every other episode has been.
