Specifically need this setup so we aren’t jumping around too much. You can have whatever extruder you want I’ll have the bunny bear gearbox attached to a stock Bear extruder but I can easily configure different firmware iterations for BMG or stock.
What you’ll need.
- SKR V1.4 board
- 5 TMC 2209 drivers with UART
- JST 2.54mm connector kit
- Fork spade connectors for new power cables
- Ring wire terminal connectors
- Bootlace ferrule connectors
- 16awg silicone wire
- Proper crimping tools
- 24V fans
If you’re interested let me know and I’ll start a new discord channel specifically for this project. Some experience with crimping and making wires is helpful but I’ll try and walk everyone through the process as best I can.
Thanks to Barry we have the case ready for Bear frame. I’m going to start an initial firmware today and begin making new cables for the bed and power supply. I’m waiting for a few connectors to arrive today and tomorrow while I work on specific things.
