Just the beginning!
🕑 Added 2020-01-30 01:33:07 +0000 UTCI spent forever crimping on all the connectors, making sure to follow all the pretty diagrams. I thought I was going calm it a night but then I decided I’d test a firmware. Spent some time making it happen and now it should work.
What’s been enabled:
- Sensorless homing (tuned it)
- BL Touch (pinda coming)
- 5x5 bed leveling (7x7 easy to switch)
- Z align (measures closest to each Z motor and aligns the X gantry to it!)
- S Curve
acceleration
- Adaptive step smoothing
- Square wave stepping
I’ve been documenting the wiring and I’ll end up making short videos and a write up on how to make sure the connections are done correctly and without falling apart.
I’ve tested homing, probing, z axis leveling, bed and hotend heat up, thermal runaway protection. Just haven’t run a print yet.
I’m just happy it’s working for now. Tomorrow I’ll have the last connectors to make the cords the right length from the PSU and bed. Other than that all the cords work and the layout looks good. The case even fits the steppers with the big sexy heatsinks.
