I think it's that she holds it in so long, that there is so much pee that the diaper can't hold it all.
But she does say "I can't wear this thing wet to class again", suggesting that it's still dry at that time. I'm sure she learned to keep her diapers on after being put in a straitjacket.
It looks she may have held it too long. She did mention in the first page how she leaked the last time, looks like it happened again.
It's subtle, but I think you can tell she's wet in the first page when we get a rear shot of her diaper.
Why is her diaper leaking so much when it looks like it was completely dry before? Did her mom poke holes in the diapers or something to make her accidents more embarrassing?
Aww poor kitten. *hugs* let get you out of that soaked diaper and wet outfit and into something more dry.
