Hey you guys might be hip to this already but I love your bits about NJ club The Stress Factory. The guy who owns it is this insanely bad awkward failed standup comedian named Vinnie Brand. His club is successful but he completely uses it to book himself as an opening act to legitimate comedians and the guy is like a parody of 1990s east coast guido comedy. Like, imagine the untalented open mic version of Nick Dipaolo and you have an idea of the vibe. All the big comics out there have to treat him like royalty because he owns the club and he carries himself with completely unearned confidence. I don’t have any clips to link but search him out. Maybe Tim’s already been hip to this guy for years and has done a close study but if not it’ll garner some nice cringey laughs.
