Presidents Rank Mass Effect Fathers Preview

With this, I've cut through the back log of things I scripted before I had to take that break while moving. From here I'm looking for start working on the Multiplayer Tier list content as well as the Hollow Knight Bosses Tier List I mentioned on YouTube a bit ago.
First I'll record gameplay footage of the classes and move to scripting from there.
I have also been working on a rough outline for how Presidents Play Mass Effect Andromeda will be look
The focus here is finding as much of the actual interesting bits of Andromeda and getting it condense so the series isn't bogged down by all the open world BS this game is full of.
For example, early on there is a mission called Shock Treatment that involves nothing more than going to the settlement on Eos, reading a few terminals, scanning some equipment, then going all the way to a monolith site to scan MORE equipment, and then finally driving to a Remnant structure to fight some Remnant to save some NPCs.
This is, bluntly, dogshit. The only reason it'll be shown is to 1. Have the Presidents make fun of it for being filler nonsense and 2. Just to set to ground rules on what won't be shown in the series. "Barack" will handle most Task assignments off screen for the sake of gathering exp and reaching 100% Viability on the planets.
I'm still not entirely sure how I'm going to get this into episodic format, as natural break points are far and few in-between. But that's a challenge for my future self.

All the open world BS is whats stopping me from replaying Andromeda. Back in the day in a post Skyrim world every publisher was trying to make their own version of 50+ hour game. And unfortunately Mass Effect fell into that trap. The games went from a perfect structure of main quests + side quest to absolute slop filled with weird sudoku puzzles, combat outposts and repeatable boring boss fights.

I'm really looking forward to Andromeda. I hope after this, some haters decide to give it a try. The gameplay really is good.

Good stuff Prime, and looking forward to what you pull out for Andromeda. Not a bad game, but the story beats aren't as strong and as you've said there aren't great breaking points. Expecting to skip most of the bloat stuff, but would be funny if one of the guys was fixated on one type of open content, to the frustration of the others.

Sidenote the Nexus uprising and multi species arks deserves proper respect, loved these books and shows the missed potential. Also gives good material to mock characters like tann and spender

Laughing how I wouldn't be surprised if liara father is top tier, within a few minutes of talking she's giving her asari commandos and even sets up one quarter krogan line in citadel dlc
