O&O Page 19 pencils
🕑 Added 2025-06-10 08:47:46 +0000 UTCSeems like the overwhelming opinion was to post process as I go instead of saving it until after the pages are finished. So here’s my digital pencils for page 19.
For efficiency I took a couple of shortcuts here - first is that since I will likely be drawing this car (a Porsche 928) often, I decided that I would use a 3D model rather than have to spend time working it all out in every panel. Sean Gordon Murphy I am not! I also used a photo for the establishing shot in panel 1. I’ll draw over everything in ink so the final page feels cohesive.

I just adjusted the levels to pure black and white and will draw over it in ink

Love it. Is the photo drawn over by you, used as a reference or have you just cranked the contrast to get the background? I’ve to draw an SUV repeatedly in a comic I’m doing and used a 3d model. For consistency and sanity’s sake. 😂
