It’s not going to win but Annie Hall is a classic.

Mid-month, this still seems to be a two-way battle between Pretty Woman and Sleepless in Seattle. I strongly prefer Sleepless, and it's almost too perfect an opportunity to view on or around Valentine's Day.

Has anyone seen French Kiss? Also with Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline

I love WYWS. Its hands-down my favorite Sandra Bullock film. "Is this guy bothering you? It looks like he's...leaning."
Matthew Blackwood
ABOUT TIME is more than a rom com, and you will adore it! ROMAN HOLIDAY is quietly one of the best films ever made. Hope y'all do both eventually!
Matthew Blackwood
I think they’re talking about the American one with Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine.
John DiGiantomasso
While You Were Sleeping! Sandra Bullock, Bill Pullman. Peter Boyle... so sweet, incredibly clever and funny, and a GREAT Holiday Season film!
Marcus Cato
Random thought: there has been chatter about having more classic movie polls. Seeing Roman Holiday and Charade getting so few votes definitely confirms the wisdom if that suggestion.

Whenever there's a poll where I don't know of most of the movies, haven't seen most of them, or just don't have a stand-out to me, I end up usually picking one that is 50+ years old just because I know most people likely haven't seen it, and it would be an interesting addition to the channel.

Fools rush in! Mathew Perry and Salma Hayek! I know Sam will enjoy that! It has Blast from the Past vibes!
Paul Bunton
“His Girl Friday" (1940)

The Apartment is not really a comedy, but it's very good. It's the French movie Wicker Park was based on if it's the one I'm thinking of. Both are very good movies. The Apartment is darker than Wicker Park, and has a different vibe to it. Wicker Park is probably one of the better romantic movies out there, that's different than the usual Notebook, Titanic type love stories. It's still a love story so has a lot of the same elements. It's just not the stereotypical story.
