did u try using another file? i mean, u can use one of the studio ghibli main menu overrides as a template instead of the one listed in the tutorial

Hi, I wanted to let you know that it was a little difficult for me to make my own main menu override because it seems that the template you left doesn't work (or at least for me) so I wanted to try again but using another of your main menu overrides and it did work this time :D and the image must be jpg and not png, an error that took me hours to realize I was making, so it would be very helpful if you put it in your tutorial so that others don't have the same problem as me. thank u very much for the tutorial <3

So I haven't tested with other menu overrides yet. I repaired my game the other day so I'll put the overrides back in and see if the issue is fixed. Thank you for responding!

Hi, I'm not sure why this conflict is occurring in your game. Has this been happening with other main menus and loading screens you've tried? I also have the TOOL mod, and my menus work fine. Could be an in-game bug. Maybe you can also report to TwistedMexi.

So I put the new TOOL update in my mod folder and got a pop up saying "UI Recolors or other mods that alter pop-up dialogues are not compatible with TOOL" I took out your main menu override and loading screen override and that fixed it. Is there a way to make the main menu override and loading screens compatible with TOOL? Also, would leaving these in my game and ignoring the pop up message corrupt my game? Not sure if I need to tell TwistedMexi as well, figured I'd start here since your comments are open and theirs aren't

every time i put the file into the mod folder, it removes the household and the ads/promos, but the background doesnt change whatsoever. i followed the tutorial correctly

EA added live menu updates, which overrides the background image. Main Menu Readjusted by LunarBritney updated her mod so that feature is removed entirely, so you can use your main menu overrides again, https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=688934

I'm not sure when you click on the package file if your PC asks if you want to open using a certain app, if it does, click the "Choose an app on your PC" at the bottom and find where your S4S is located and find the application and it should work. It should then look like the image you see on the tutorial. I hope this helps and is understandable!

Hey mamas! A quick update about when you click the home tab: there’s another instance that you can use (855F9F4C12D139DE) that’ll show you the same blue image as the main menu but without the simlish and a bit blurred that you can add on to that package, so when people do click on it, it will not revert back to the blue but to your custom image! I hope that makes sense!
