Gone are the days where your Sims can simply go to the career panel and select a job. With this mod, your sim will have to pass an interview AND have a required degree. Read more below:
This mod introduces:
• An interview system
• A degree requirement system
• An application preparation process
This mod is available for Teens-Elders.
Selecting a Career:
When going to the career panel, your Sim will not be able to select a career until they first pass their interview and have the required degree. This is for every career EXCEPT: Freelance Careers, Actor, Interior Designer, Military. NOTE: For part-time careers, Sims will only need to pass the interview.
⚠️ NOTE: There is a possibility that your playable Sims will lose their careers when you use this mod, even if they have a degree. That is because they technically have not passed their interview, so the game will throw them out of the career until they do so. If you want to cheat this, Shift Click on your Sims and select the “Pass interview” cheat, and then you can add them back to their careers once they have the required degree.
The Interview Process:
Your Sim will be able to do their interview either Virtually (on the computer) or In-Person (they go to a rabbithole). Virtual interviews are shorter than in person interviews. Sims are only allowed to attend an interview, be it virtual or in person, on Mondays-Fridays, between the hours of 9 A.M and 5 P.M.
To be able to attend an interview, your Sim will NEED to:
• E-Mail the Hiring Manager
• Prepare and Submit their Resume and Cover Letter
• Prepare and Submit their Professional References
You can find these interactions under the career panel on the computer.
Succeeding and Failing an Interview:
Your Sim will most likely fail their first interview. When they do, it is ABSOLOUTLEY NECCESSARY that they complete the Follow Up on Past Interview interaction afterwards on the computer. If they don't, your Sim will continue to fail their job interviews! There is no guarantee that they will pass their next interview, but it does give them a chance at succeeding (at least once).
Your Sim will only be able to attend an interview ONCE every three days. After three days, the interaction will be available to them again.
Your Sim will also get a random buff after they pass or fail an interview.
NOTE: If for some reason you want to start the whole interview process over, go to the computer and complete the Withdraw All Applications interaction. This will reset everything.
SimDeed:
This mod introduces the SimDeed job platform where your Sim can find a job/career. The Find a Job interaction is now called Browse Job Openings, and you can find it under the SimDeed submenu on the computer. You can also find the SimDeed menu on phones.
Some things your Sim can do on SimDeed:
• Browse Jobs
• Read SimDeed Exclusive Articles
• Browse Salaries (gives your Sim a random buff)
LlamadIN:
This mod also introduces LlamadIN (like LinkedIn lol) where your Sim can explore an array of job/educational interactions. Your Sim will need to create an account first.
Some things your Sim can do on LlamadIn are:
• Network with Employers
• Pay Expert to Review Resume (§150)
• Practice Courses on LlamadIn Learning
• Study Interview Tips
• Research Educational Articles
• Research Companies
• Message University Alumni for Career Tips (only available for University Students)
This mod does NOT:
• Alter the Career Jump System that came with Discover University
• Alter NPC Jobs (i.e. Stall vendors, Paparazzi)
• Alter Freelance/Gig Careers
• Alter Career Payments
Tips, Cheats & Exceptions
• If you don't want to go through the interview phase, you can SHIFT+CLICK on your Sim and select the Pass Interview Cheat. (If your Sim failed a recent interview, ensure that they complete the Follow up On Past Interview interaction before doing this. Also make sure that you have cheats enabled)
• Try not to queue interactions. Wait until an interaction is complete, so the game recognizes that your Sim did it.
• For elders, LlamadIN does not appear correctly on their phones. I'm still looking into this.

hey, so when I click on simdeed, the only thing that I can do is is find job openings and all it does is take me to the all of the jobs and does not let me click on them because I have not passed the interview, I have also tried to click on the computer to do it but it did not work, I also do not have llamadin

First of all, amazing mod so far. I have been playing with this mod for almost a week and have found it very good. But now when I try to send my sim to attend an interview of any kind, this action did not work. How can I fix this?

Again, hun that is not my mod you’re talking about. My mod does not have an hourglass, icon nor can you schedule an interview. My interview interactions are only on the computer. What you’re talking about, might be apart of another mod.

Hi hun, you might have the wrong mod. My mod does not have an interviewer that comes, nor does it have an interaction where you call to schedule for an interview.

i just downloaded the mod but there's an issue that i don't get any of the options on the pc all that's there is find a job, was wondering how do i fix this i tried re-installing the mod but it didn't fix it.

Hi hun, sounds like another mod might be affecting/conflicting with it. Or it can be an issue with your game maybe. Try removing the mod and testing again.

You were actually so correct, it's not just PandaSama's mods, it's the whole NPC system omg! Because NPC sims haven't passed an interview, the game removed them from their careers, so no one is spawning! Thank you again for letting me know! I will make an announcement for others soon! 🤍

super cute mod! just so you know - after I downloaded it - Pandasama's realistic birth mod wasn't spawning obstetricians, doctors or front desk workers to the hospital, and unsure if its noted and I missed it but my sims already had jobs and lost them instantly. Everything was fixable and I'll just reinstall again after my sim gives birth and cheat the career because this mod seems amazing but just wanted to let you know <3 thank you for your work!

Looks amazing, but I use Kuttoe career overhaul, does it conflict with it or not? Kuttoe's mod doesn't change anything in job application process but maybe there is a conflict?
