I honestly have just as many questions as you do Khalid. He says he's living in a different era suggesting its VERY far into the future, how will they meet again? Maybe when she's old?? That's why I was like "Could the aunt be her in the future??" I DON'T KNOW. I WAS SO CONFUSED LOL

I don't understand, how will they meet in the future? "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" was based on a sci-fi novel of the same name, and many dramas and movies have been made since 1972 television series. But, this anime is a sequel to the original. You don't have to know the original story to enjoy it, but it might be good to know that Makoto's aunt, Kazuko, was the heroine of the original story, who did time travel in her youth.
