Yes thats right... but to be better then "SOLO" is not hard at all!!! LOL :-) And even that isn't the lowest level of the Stuff that Disney did release later.... so thank you "Jar Jar Abrams", "Kathleen Kennedy" and of course "Rian Johnson"!!! LMAO

Don’t forget to watch SOLO! It takes places 19 years after episode 3, and about 11-14 years before A New Hope.

The "business decision" was that Disney wanted a generic "placeholder" to fill the December slots in the years between Eps. VII, VIII and IX, and on that level, it's...better than "Solo". That's about all you can say for it.

From the Disney Stuff was Rogue One the most fun for me. First i really liked how it catches up with the story of Episode 4 but with rewatching it, it showed more and more what big logical mistake they made at the end so that it doesn't fit with the tone of Ep 4 anymore (red Endfight...)! But of course i don't even compare it with any official movies, ( Ep 1-6) but i must say for a "Fan-movie" (well its actually not a Fan-movie, it was a pure business-decision-movie...) it has some cool and funny Ideas. :-)

(No, seriously: Jyn singlehandedly MOTIVATES the rebellion out of giving up. Most of them didn't want to give & wanted to fight but, like in real life, sometimes it takes a leader to get everyone moving. She didn't really do much, she was just able to connect with their collective will to want to do something. Also, it wasn't the entire rebellion either. It was a faction then greeted by a larger faction but not the WHOLE rebel alliance.)

So...then...basically it WASN'T. She was strong & held her despite every reason being thrown at her not to. She kept moving towards her goal no matter what she lost or how hopeless it all seemed. Force Awakens biggest problems is that it didn't make it more realistic & thus more relatable.

So...then...basically it WAS the Persecuted Mary-Sue-Heroine Kathleen Kennedy Chik-Flik we originally thought Force Awakens was going to be and wasn't. Pretty much. (No, seriously: Jyn singlehandedly talks the Rebellion out of giving up? Why not have her flying Luke’s X-wing, while she’s at it?)

Er... The sequels we're terrible. So many plot holes, little character development etc etc... Also, Jyn Erso had 1,000x more character development than rey did, plus she sacrificed everything to give the rebels a chance. WITHOUT ANY MAGICAL POWERS. That's what made Rogue One So great. They we're pretty much regular people who didn't have a cheat code or plot armor. Erso was able to get justice for the Empire taking everything from her and paid the ultimate price... Rey was just given mad power for no reason & the rest of the movies felt like hasty runs to kill off as much of the original cast as possible.

Er…Rogue One was what we were terrified Force Awakens was GOING to be, when we first heard a heroine was the main character. TBF, Rey had the right Jedi stuff, but Jyn "Mary Sue" Erso was “Nyah, my daddy ruined your Death Star, and now your stupid Empire’s gonna lose, so there, plthhh!!”
