Wild Horses isn't the best episode of Bebop, but its one of my favorites. I think you're right about giving a little insight into Spike's laisse faire demeanor towards his own life and a small look into his history and past friendships. Mostly, I think session is a jam, just like how the music hits when they start the pursuit of the truckers. They had the world, they had the characters, they had the idea for a story, they all played their own tunes and this is the music that they made.

You know what, GHIBLI studio has a series called "Future Boy Conan" it's an adventure & comedy and a love story between the two Main character, it's one of the best old series anime out there but I don't know why most people don't know about it but if we see for example our people we used to watch it a lot because the story is very beautiful, you could make it try if you want, and thax a lot for your efforts. ^^

Fun reaction! You should definitely check out the 1986 anime classic Transformers: The Movie.

My fave episode because I'm a plane/space fan and recognizing the planes in the pictures that you see, plus the fact that they've created a space shuttle that could take off in a similar way than a plane is just cool. Plus in the end I feel like it's a cool, albeit unexpected, tribute to Space Shuttle Columbia. As you said, it shows more of the personality of Spike and I think that while not a whole happened story wise, it will still be important to understand things as a whole.

Congrats on the new place! This is just how Cowboy Bebop goes. Perfect. And I mostly forgot about this episode. Never see the later 'seps' as much as I want to :D

This is one of my Favorite episode's of the series : ). The title "Wild Horses" like around a dozen other episode titles are references to hit songs in musical genres. "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones as a bit of trivia.
