Ok, mastervodo, I'll tell her. Hi V. The guitar that Daisy played was an actual antique guitar from the 1880s or so, worth millions, temporarily donated by a museum or something like that, purely for the making of this movie, because they were huge Tarentino fans. It was supposed to be returned in proper condition. Jennifer Jason Leigh (Daisy) knew this, but Kurt Russell did not. There was nothing in the script about John Ruth smashing the guitar, but Kurt was full in John Ruth character and felt that smashing the guitar was what John would do, so he did. Jennifer started screaming in shock for Kurt to stop, and that wasn't acting! That was real! The museum vowed to never again lend any of their precious items to a movie.

I think this one is really underrated. This & Inglourious Basterds are my favorite Tarantino films.

Considering that the old man's son was there to kill Warren for money, along with many other southern men, and they traveled multiple states to attempt to get his bounty... Considering that his father was a racist slave owner and it's likely his son was as well, while cruel and disgusting, I never thought it was all that much more unjust that other act committed towards people in the film. In fact I thought it was fairly comical, although that's mostly because his delivery and the blunt way Sam Jackson told the story, Someone doing that for other reasons in other circumstances of course would be another matter. Racist civil war folks who can't let the war go getting just desserts as a direct result for being unable to let it go and treat people equally is hard for me not to deem funny, no matter how severe the punishment is for them. One thing I love about this movie is that Walton's character, whom we immediately perceive at the beginning to be just another racist sonofabitch asshole, manages to find common ground and commit old west justice with Warren at the end and they honor John by doing it in the way that he would've approved of. They become unlikely allies on their literal deathbeds.

It is definitely slower compared to his other films. I don't think I remember being very fond of it the first time I watched it but I think I enjoyed it more this time. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was his most recent film that you would probably enjoy, maybe even more so than this one.

I think the issue is people not knowing what version you are watching. If you told us you watched the extended version, we would use that. Since you told us you are using the theatrical version, we used that. It makes no difference to us. I just genuinely don't see how using the other version is "unfair to us."

It is because it makes it easier for viewers to click and sync once instead of it getting out of sync because of extra scenes etc 🥲 i got yelled at last time for watching extended edition of spiderman

No problem with you watching the theatrical version, but I didn't get your reasoning. You just have to tell us when to sync the videos. It's not an issue for us, and I assume it's the same editing process you would do for a TV show.
