Its not just 4 seasons. Season 5 is very possible. But there is also a web series, Seven on 7, and an animated short story/anthology, The Boys: Diabolical. Both happen between season 2 and 3. Then a spin-off story that is tied to The Boys story line called Gen V that takes place after season 3. Also, season 4 isn't out yet (the writers strike delayed it), there is talk about a season 5 from the showrunner, but also Gen V got approved a 2nd season, too. So, it goes: Season 1, season 2, Seven on 7, Diabolical, season 3, Gen V, then probably season 4 this year, and season 2 of Gen V probably after that, with season 5 in the rumormill. So, The Boys takes a lot of questions about reality and superheroes and helps to show the inevitability of human nature. Superheroes don't make an income saving the world, in comics, and cause a lot of damage. So, they need corporate backing, but it becomes celebrity worship, nearly godhood worship, then of course the egos, then the abuse, and violations, the cover-ups, the addictions, it ends up breeding sociopaths and psychopaths, according to human nature. Its based on the DC/Wildstorm and Dynamite comics, which is why many of the Seven are modeled after DC heroes. Okay, okay. The Deep is definitely gross but don't be knocking orgies, now, lol. There are some very clean, safe, organized, civil, even catered orgies out there, okay, lol.
