Really? That sounds awesome. Well, maybe not awesome, but it's something I'd like to see. Where does it exist? I bought the Twin Peaks blurays as soon as they came out, and I don't think it was anywhere on them.

By "1989", it's likely the pilot-episode movie. Which also tacked on a quick thrown-together completist ending where Cooper actually DOES find the killer after his dream.

The Twin Peaks movie wouldn't make any sense unless you've watched the TV Show. The show is amazing, but I'd strongly recommend against the movie until you've seen every episode first.

An underrated Nolan flick. The real stars of that one are admittedly Pacino and Williams. Though, it would be hard for me to vote for it over Memento.

Have a lot gangster/mob movies on your thriller list, lol. As soon as I saw Shawshank on here, I knew that was going to be the priority. Shawshank is a must. I didn't know it was categorized as a thriller though...more of a drama imho. Still good, tho.

I was confused by this as well but I assume this is just the pilot turned into a movie. The series does come highly recommended outside of most of season 2.

I take it you mean Twin Peaks: the Series, although the feature pilot episode was shown as a movie overseas. (And not "Fire Walk with Me", which was made long after Season 2 plunged off a cliff...)
